It has been over a month since I started meditating, and what a difference it has made. I am more calm, more focused, see things with a bit more clarity, and from what I am told this is just the beginning. On last Friday, I decided to get more training and signed up for instructions in Sahaj Samadhi meditation.
My first experience was on Saturday afternoon after yoga and the long form of Kriya, and it was amazing. The meditation is tailor made for the individual based on an initial interview with the trainer. The trainer gives a mantra that is aligned with your personal goals. The first 25 minutes were bliss. Intense. And yet very simple.
Most people have the wrong idea about meditation, and I am glad to have my preconceptions cleared.
I came across my Q-Tip "Amplified" cd a few weeks ago and realized how much I enjoyed listening to it. One song in particular reminded me of when I used to listen to it while in the office just to mellow out after being aggravated by some person or situation.
The loop in this song keeps me relaxed still.
It needs to be added to my ipod's "Chill To This" mix. Enjoy.
